There is a composition called „Going ahead“ from Pat Metheny, which I know since 1983 or so. It is an almost acoustic piece played on a semi acoustic-electric guitar. Pat Metheny plays it in many variations and I like every single one. For my own variation I took a few bits of Pat Methenys composition and added my own stuff. So it became something new which lead me to the idea of calling it „Going to Pat“. If he ever hears it, I hope he will like it. When I heart his composition „Are you going with me“ for the first time, I saw it as an invitation for a lifetime, and that was very long ago. Thanks for all your wonderful music!!!

In summer 2019 I was in an empty yoga studio of a very close friend. We were testing the equipment and the acoustic to do some videos for her. The next morning I was alone, just turned on the camera and the microphone and started playing… In the end I had material for two videos of completely improvised music. So brush your ears and enjoy it as much as I did while playing…
